FAQ

Initially, please note that a full set of Event Rules and Regulations can be found HERE

Can I purchase General Admission (camping and non-camping) tickets on the gate?

Yes, but they will be $5 extra for non-camping and $10 extra for camping passes than the online prices.  Online ticket sales end on June 1.

Can I bring my own food and drinks (excluding alcohol)?

Yes you can bring your own food and drinks to the event – this applies to both the Camping Area and the Event Area itself.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Alcohol may be brought into the Camping Area and Pit Area ONLY but may not be consumed within the Pit Area or any entrant campsites until driving events have concluded (for details of these areas, see the above Site Map).  Entrants and Pit Crew may be breath-tested and must return zero readings while competing or being within a Restricted Area.

The Event Area is licensed and strictly no BYO alcohol is allowed.  Bags will be searched upon entry and no open drinks can be brought into the Event Area.  Anyone found with BYO alcohol in the Event Area will have their armband removed and will be ejected from the Event Area.

Can I bring pets?

Dogs are permitted in the External Camping Area only (see the Site Map above for details) and must be kept on a lead in the campsite at all times.   If there is any excessive noise from barking, both the dog and the owner may be subject to removal from the venue.

Other than registered Guide Dogs accompanying a disabled person, no animals/pets are permitted within the Internal Camping Area, Pit Area or Event Area.

If I am camping, when can I arrive?

Entrants and those travelling with entrants may arrive on Thursday afternoon, provided they have purchased a Pit Crew pass or 3-Day Camping Pass.  All other 3-Day Camping Pass holders can arrive from 7am Friday, while 2-Day Camping Pass holders can arrive from 7am Saturday.

What does the VIP Burnout Pad Seating option include?

This includes a reserved seat in the front row around the burnout pad within a separate spacious fenced area for all 3 burnout rounds, as well as a pair of safety glasses.  All VIP ticket holders will be required to wear the safety glasses during burnouts to provide protection from small flying debris.  Note – fencing is provided to provide protection from large flying debris.
