UPDATE – 26/10/15
Jjust a quick update to let everyone know that things are still moving ahead with the track, despite some of the rumours which are circulating.
There have been a few delays in getting the track surface finished to the tight tolerances required by ANDRA, however this is expected to be finalised in the next week or two. Other than this, there is currently lots of activity onsite with the control tower being fitted out, timing gear being installed, signage being erected, toilet block being built, etc, etc…
We are still aiming to hold an event of some sort before Christmas provided the track surface and timing gear are completed within the next couple of weeks to allow a few weeks for track preparation and training of officials and staff. We just need to see how things go at this stage as we are aware that we are quickly running out of time this year.
Photos will be posted shortly to show how good things are looking and a further update will be provided in relation to a potential event this year.
