Only a few days to go now until the first ever race meeting at Springmount Raceway! We hope you are as excited as we are!
We would just like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to please bring your printed tickets if you have purchased online as we need to scan barcodes on the gate. If not purchased online, you can purchase them on the gate but will need to present your members card or ID as this event is for members/sponsors only (and allocated pit crew for registered drivers and +1 for spectators).
We would also like to remind you that this first meeting is intended as a test event, and that teething problems may occur. Please be understanding of this. We do however encourage feedback following the meeting via email or private message on Facebook to enable us to identify what you liked, or what needs improvement. While the facility is almost fully completed, please note that further improvements will be made over the coming weeks such as the addition of shade structures and digital display boards (displaying elapsed times and speed).
Finally, please note that Saturday is currently predicted to be very hot and sunny, so please ensure you have adequate sun protection. As noted above, proposed shade structures over the viewing area will not be installed in time for the first meeting, so instead, we encourage you to bring your own shade structures if you wish as there should be plenty of room to install these given the limited spectator numbers at this event (please just be considerate of others already there when choosing a location to erect your shade).
