TEST & TUNE / RACE YA MATE / COME TRY DAY – SATURDAY 20 APRIL 2024

Join us at Springmount Raceway on Saturday the 20th of April for a Test & Tune / Race Ya Mate / Come Try Day, the perfect opportunity to fine-tune your car or bike for the upcoming race season. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a newcomer, this event welcomes everyone to experience the thrill of drag racing. You can even line up and go head to head against your mates.

If you prefer to spectate, no worries! We offer shaded viewing areas, delicious food, and a bar for you to enjoy. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds as the region’s fastest cars and bikes race down the quarter-mile. Check below for details on prices, event times, and more.

Event details are as follows:

Times

Gates open 6pm – 8pm Friday night (competitors only – no racing on Friday) and from 9am Saturday
Scrutineering from 10am – 12pm
Driver’s briefing 12:30pm
Racing from 1pm – 8pm (approx)

Prices

Test & Tune / Race Ya Mate / Come Try – $120
Junior Dragster – $80
NOTE – A LATE FEE OF $50 APPLIES TO NOMINATIONS RECEIVED AFTER MIDNIGHT ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE EVENT
Pit Crew – $15 (limits apply based on vehicle)
Camping – Free for entrants and pit crew and $10 for all others
Spectators – $20 adult, $15 pensioner, $10 child (5-15), free for children under 5 and $50 for a family (2 adults + 2 children)
Spectator, camping and pit crew passes are to be purchased on the gate

General

Camping available Friday (competitors only) and Saturday night.  Friday night gate access is available to competitors from 6pm – 8pm only!  Arrivals outside these hours will be required to camp in the external camp grounds.
Bar and food available
BYO alcohol allowed in camping area only (not in licensed viewing areas)
